You can become a Cub Scout from the age of 8, either by moving up from Beavers or as a new member to the group.

At 2nd Longton we have two Cub Packs, Gladstone who meet on a Monday and Mclean who meet on a Tuesday.  Both Packs have a Cub Leader called Akela ( which means leader of the pack) and assistant leaders with Jungle Book names.

At Cubs we provide the children with fun, adventure and friendship through a balanced programme.  This is demonstrated through varied activities such as camping (indoor and outdoor), games, visits, outdoor activities (climbing, archery, shooting) and working with others.

As a Cubs Scout their achievements can be rewarded with a wide range of Activity Badges either as a whole Pack or as an individual Cub.
